2 Corinthians 6:17 “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.
The Lords wants His people to come out and be separate from the world. One of the main causes is because of the fear of man, we see in Corinthians 7:1 that we perfect holiness by the fear of the Lord. It takes a courage to live for the approval of Jesus rather than man. 1 Peter 4:4-6, the crowd will always think it is strange that we are not indulging in the flesh. We need to overcome being ruled by how men see or judge us, how they evaluate our lives by the standard of men, but rather ruled by the approval of Jesus. To really walk with Jesus it is going to require us to look weird, strange, and an outcast to the world. May we only seek the approval of Jesus and what is important to His heart.
